What I Wore: I've turned into THAT girl

Gingham and neon layered outfit
I swore I would never wear neon.
I swore I would never wear skinny jeans.
I swore I would never wear a ton of bracelets.
I swore I would never layer two collard shirts.

I in one day managed to wear all of these things. I don't even know who I am anymore. Oi. Seriously, I was thinking back to almost just this time last year and I seriously don't know who I am.

Last spring was the worst semester of my college career. I had horrible, horrible teachers who made me cry every day. I was stressed, depressed and I felt like I was spiraling out of control because I was so scattered. I was afraid that the spring semester would be a sign of the rest of my college career. Nope! Not at all! This spring has been completely different  no tears! I have a way better way of relieving stress (blogging, venting to you all) and am just so much happier.

And now with that reflection, I AM OFF FOR SPRING BREAK! Just kidding, I have 3 more days of school. Sigh.

  4. I totally had one of those moments after I started blogging, everything I thought I would never, or could never wear was suddenly being worn, embraced, and loved. It's funny how easily we can be swayed.

Black and white with the pop of neon is a great way to wear it, and I hope you have a fabulous break!

  16. hahaha I think blogging really changes you. You start to venture out of your comfort zone and rethink your personal style. It's great, all part of personal development I think. You look amazing, the yellow and black and white go perfectly together.

  17. I think the longer you have a fashion blog, the more you find yourself wearing things that you were so sure you hated and/or just weren't for you. As long as you still feel like yourself when you put them on, all is well :) Plus, life just isn't life without skinny jeans, ha ha. Love your layered blouses!
