What I Wore: Purple Ombre



 

I made a mistake yesterday in my blog post, I am NOT yet on spring break. I have now about 1 more day and then I am on break. I completely forgot to update the post from draft form. Totally my mistake and I should have caught it. Sorry about that! 

I absolutely love the Lawrence Goodwill. Every time that I go there I can find brand new Gap, J. Crew items and other really great brands there.This purple ombre top was brand new from Gap and was only $3.99! I can definitely see myself wearing this a lot as we transition into nicer weather, perhaps with some white jeans or darker pants. Since ombre is so hot this spring I was super happy to snag a trendy piece for such a great price! 

 I have a special place for Goodwill in my heart because my brother, who has Down Syndrome, was hired to work there! He absolutely loves sorting the clothes and I love shopping at a place that hires people with special needs. He always loves telling me about how he has a "JOB!" and is so proud of it! I love that I can feel good about supporting a store that gives back to people who often do not have very much in life. Joel adores his coworkers and loves it there, I am incredibly happy to know there are companies such as Goodwill that don't look at his disability and turn him away, thy embrace it!
