A long time ago I saw a pin that showed a woman wearing a sequin jacket and cargo pants. I was immediately obsessed. I saw it early summer so I knew that as soon as it became a little bit cooler I was going to try out this look for a date night. I love the juxtaposition of the super girly with more masculine colors and styles. I am super happy that I decided to scout a sequin jacket early on because finding it was not easy.

However, I am surprising dedicated to finding something if it involves sequins. Perhaps I would be even more dedicated to school if my books were covered in sequins. I mean, if I cold spend all summer long looking for a sequin jacket and find it two months later…I could probably actually ace that Italian exam. But you know… until that day happens where my books are covered in sequins and well, I actually understand foreign languages, I will just wear my sequin jacket and remember how long it took to find it. However, book publishers, since you already charge $400 for a book that will be out of date in a year, women might actually be happy buying it if it was covered in sequins. Ok, I’m now done. You get the idea.

I never did find one I love until I found the vintage beauty of my dreams that is now hanging spectacularly in my closet. 🙂 I love the idea of pairing the girly jacket with cargo jeans. Genius!
