The Great Flats Conundrum

Pretty much everyone around knows that I wear heels daily. I hate how I feel when I’m wearing flats. I feel bloated, grumpy and worst of all… frumpy when not wearing heels. The only exception is tennis shoes because then I’m pretending that I actually just came from the gym. I’m not wearing heels in these photos. Why is that a big deal? I have approximately five pairs of flats compared to my over….(*ahem* a large number) of heels. I don’t feel comfortable in flats. I don’t photograph well in flats. I don’t like how they look on me. The issue is that I also know it’s not great for my feet to be in constant high heels. My foot requires some arch support which I can never find in flats and I know that I am more productive when I am wearing heels.

I know that I have a long life of shoe-wearing ahead of me and I don’t want to end up spending an entire year’s salary on a podiatrist. So I come to you and ask you for your help and suggestions. What do I do? I can’t wear flats but I know that I shouldn’t be constantly in heels.
