What I Baked This Week- Orange Rolls

I have been on a roll …….well, roll…… these past few weeks. Last week it was lemon blueberry rolls and this week it’s orange rolls. Before I share the recipe with you I wanted to let you know a few things I have learned. 

Let rolls always rise for about 20 minutes before you put them in the oven. This DOES make a difference. It takes longer yes, but it does make a difference. 

I don’t care for glaze. If I am going to spend that many calories on sugar I am going to actually make a cream cheese frosting or some other type of actual frosting. It doesn’t quite seem like a roll with a glaze. In fact, I have decided that it’s not a dessert unless it has actually frosting on it.

Learn how your oven runs. Is it hot? Does it run cooler? My oven runs extremely hot so I have had to take about 5-9 minutes off the baking time.

Also then will I be giving a review of the Wilton Cake Decorating Class, level one. I am taking it for the month of April at my local Michael’s store. Has anyone ever taken one of these classes before?
