What I Wore: Don’t touch my hair, EVER

Top: Plato’s Closet/Shorts: J Crew Factory/Necklace and shoes: Hand me downs/ Purse: Tj Maxx (gift last Christmas)
I realize the title doesn’t at all relate to clothing. It’s more of a personal issue I have. You see, every single time I go to the mall those people at the kiosk SWARM to harass me and ask if they can straighten my hair, play with it, show me how to make it more “manageable.” It’s taken years, actually most of my life to work with these curls so I am overly sensitive about anyone touching or wanting to change them!

ATTENTION WORLD: just because I have curly hair doesn’t mean a) I don’t like it b) DO NOT EVER TOUCH MY HAIR c) don’t assume that just because I have curly hair means I am  unhappy with it. I realize that you all have an industry built around people like me who don’t like their curly tendrils but I do. So just STOP running after me in the mall to show me how to make things “manageable.” *rant over*  Also while I am ranting and raving, NO I DON’T WANT TO TRY YOUR LOTION. I always try to be polite when I tell them no but man these people are soooo aggressive! I’m not the only one who hates the mall kiosk people right?

In other news, I couldn’t figure out why this outfit felt “off.” At about 7pm I finally figured out why. I forgot to put on mascara. The ONLY makeup I wear is mascara and I am obsessed with it. I don’t mind not wearing any makeup but I couldn’t figure out why I looked so strange. So after running errands, working and taking photos I then figured it out. Naturally.
