You’re Gonna Hear Me Roar

There are certain songs that have this weird way of endearing itself to me. In this case it’s Katy Perry’s Roar. Yep. That song that is played constantly. At first I hated it. Like, really hated it. My feeling about Katy Perry is that her songs need to be fast and perky because I listen to her while doing cardio. However, as time as gone by and I have had to listen to her song how she is going to roar every dang day for the past three months, I’ve kind of had to admit that I like the song now. But wait! There’s more. The song is kind of perfect for the supercharged inspirational mood I am in right now. I’ve had so many inspiring lunches and meetings that have made me feel like I have a voice. No wait, I have a super loud voice and I’m going to roar. So basically these pants are my announcement to the world that I’m going to roar. So clever aren’t I?

Perhaps I should have worn a sign that said, “THESE ARE MY HEAR ME ROAR PANTS!” Maybe then people would have been like, “that girl is going to roar! I totally know why she wore such a loud print to class today.” Anyway, consider this my post saying that every time that you hear Katy Perry singing how she is going to roar, think of me and my pants. Or something like that. Or you can just sing along and try and forget about this.
